Camino – Day 37

Not much to say today. It was a wet, blustery, gray sort of day. It started with a rather ferocious wind, that died down about mid-morning. The rain started about an hour into the walk – sometimes and sometimes heavy. The terrain was up and down – climbing and falling between 50 and 100 meters at a time. The scenery was a mix of lovely tree and stone wall lined lanes, and walking along roadways. Not as unpleasant as two days ago, but not as beautiful as yesterday. The perigrino crowd was lighter than it has been. And did I mention that it was wet? I managed to find some peace and tranquillity along the way, but by the time I reached Melide (15km) I was feeling pretty drained. I’m getting tired. It is a day to lay low. Tomorrow will be a new day.
