Day 11

Yesterday I landed in a really lovely and peaceful alberge, and quickly decided that today would be a good day for a rest. It turned out to be a profoundly good day to stop and simply be present where I am.

I wandered down to the village to have lunch and ran into a young woman I had met several days ago. We shared lunch and a really lovely connection. She walked on and I returned to the alberge. A few minutes later the sky opened up and began raining buckets. The surprising gifts of the Camino continue to pour into my life.

No photos to share today. It’s a down day and I didn’t any photos worth posting.
