Let the Countdown Begin

One month from today (the day after Labor Day) my big adventure begins. I will board a plane in Denver and the next morning I will be in Madrid Spain. The following morning I will step off a train in St. Jean France, where I will start my journey on the Camino de Santiago. Almost 2 months and approximately 600 miles later I will board another train which will take me back to Madrid so that I can fly home. During that time my intention is to not be in a motorized vehicle. My feet will be my only means of transportation. I’ve been thinking about this trip for over a year, and for the most part I’m confident that I’m prepared. And by “prepared” I mean I’m ready to be flexible and deal with the unexpected surprises that are sure to pop up along the way. I’m excited to discover what awaits me on this adventure, and I’m looking forward to learning more about myself. I will be posting reflections along the way on my blog site (rogerlynn.com) and on my Facebook page. And, of course, there will be photos on my Flickr site (www.flickr.com/photos/rogerlynn/). Let the countdown begin.
