On this April Fools Day, I invite you to take the risk of looking foolish. How many times do we let the fear of looking foolish hold us back and keep us from allowing our light to shine? Let today be the day when you unburdened yourself of that particular fear. There may be people who will think you foolish, and there is absolutely nothing you can do about that. It says more about them than it does about you. What other people think about me is none of my business. Our job as human beings living in this world is to show up as the fullest and most authentic version of ourselves as we can possibly manage in any given moment. When we do that then our inner light will shine, and the world will be just a little bit brighter (or perhaps even a whole lot brighter). So today may you begin to understand that the only truly foolish thing you can do is to let fear keep you from being who you are. Shine!
