From the first time I saw a photograph of this sculpture I have been drawn to it. And it is currently on display on Canyon Road in Santa Fe. What a thrill it was for me to be able to stand there in the dark and soak in this remarkable creation.

Leonard Cohen said, “There is a crack in everything. That’s how the light gets in.” But I believe it is also true that our cracks are how the light gets out. When we take the risk of being vulnerable enough to show up naked and exposed in all of our humanness, including our cracks, then our light can truly shine. And that is what this wonderful sculpture exemplifies for me.
