I’d love to hear from you!

I went to Michigan to spend a week with one of my daughters and two of my grandkids. That week turned into two weeks (thank you United Airlines for making that not only possible but easy, and to Susan for taking care of both her responsibilities and mine back in Boulder). It was a time of really wonderful connection for which I will always be grateful. It was hard to say goodbye yesterday and fly away from that tangible experience of love. Now I’m back home catching up with all the stuff I put on hold for two weeks (not nearly as important as what I was doing, but still needs tending to at some point). And tonight I am really weary. The learning curve for spending that much time with a 2 year old and a 7 year old was pretty steep and required lots of emotional energy. And then a day of travel, with delayed flights and dealing with customer service and rushing through airports and getting to bed at midnight. It has taken a toll that is now catching up with me. I wouldn’t trade a moment of the last two weeks (well, maybe a couple of moments when I wish I had managed to more adequately rise to the occasion), but now I need to go to bed. Good night my friends.
