I just dropped one of my daughters off at the airport this morning after a wonderful five day visit. That has me thinking about family. I have seven daughters and seven grandchildren, and none of them are biologically related to me. In fact, only one of them is even legally related to me, and many of them are not biologically related to each other. The picture above represents three generations of my family and none of us are “blood” related. And it doesn’t matter at all. What we share is a bond of love and caring. My family doesn’t look much like what I once imagined “family” would look like, and I wouldn’t trade what I have for anything. I have been blessed beyond measure, and it’s all pure gift!
