In the last 24 hours these quotes have come into my awareness in various and random ways. Maybe it’s just coincidence, but it’s almost like the Universe is trying to tell me something, if only I will pay attention. And so, at least in this moment, I am choosing to pay attention. I will continue to strive to (in the words of Barbara Brown Taylor) “become more fully human, trusting that there is no way to God apart from real life in the real world.” In other words, to show up and be as fully present in this and every moment as I can possibly manage. Because this and every moment is, indeed, holy and precious and mysterious and amazing.
