Back in the fall of 2014 I visited the Japanese Garden in Portland, Oregon several times a week waiting for the perfect moment to capture this photo of this tree. It is said that this is one of the most photographed trees in the country. Today I revisited the photo with the intent of creating a photo mandala from it. As it turned out I ended up creating four mandalas. The results all depends on which section of the photo I choose. In this case I really like the results.
