Roger,
Lovely pics. I thought Crater Lake was one of the most awesome sights I've ever seen when I visited there. Sounds like your journey is still wonderful. Enjoy!

Roger,
Was great to hear your voice even if you are at the ocean and I'm not!
The SF pictures are great and so familiar to me. Loved seeing them.

There are real things to be afeared of out there (and in here). There really are people "out to get us." Yet when we base our lives on those fears, when we let fear consume and narrow our focus, we respond by seeking to control everything around us so that bad stuff doesn't happen to us good people and in the process we squeeze all mystery and all life out of our lives. When we build our lives on love and where love is flowing and leading then we find life welling up and mystery and creativity freed to lead us to new and healing ways to respond to those we fear.

be still
(andra moran/josh elson, copyright 2001 ammo music/ wet cement songs ascap)
Psalm 46:10, Psalm 131:2, Matthew 6:6

too many words don't mean enough
how can i say i need you so much
chorus:
i will be silent
and i will be very still
and i will be quiet
and i will listen yes i will
i will listen until
i hear you
too many thoughts crowding my mind
so many answers i'm hoping to find
chorus
be still . . . be still . . . until . . . i hear you
